  • For your consideration, I am offering a first edition copy of Bob Hope’s book “They Got Me Covered.” The book was published in 1941. The introduction was written by Bob’s long time friend Bing Crosby.
On the inside cover page, an inscription is penned —
To Clarence     Thanks for the Memory    Bob Hope
I had Mr. Hope’s inscription evaluated by JSA. In their opinion, the “autograph is a non-malicious vintage secretarial or clubhouse version.” The JSA letter is shown in the pictures.
The envelope which was sent to Clarence Ramstedt in 1989 can be seen in the photos. A letter sent to Mr. Ramstedt is also shown in the pictures. This letter was generated and signed by Jan Morrill, a secretary to Bob Hope.
Jan Morrill is the head archivist of the Bob Hope Collection. She has worked with Bob Hope and his family for more than twenty-five years. Her years in this capacity allowed her to work with an eclectic mix of multi-media including video and photography, as well as the memorabilia and documents acquired during his life and career, which spanned a century.
She maintains and apprises the Board of Directors of the Bob and Dolores Hope Charitable Foundation as to the status of the collection and advises them on the historical and educational value of the items.
All of the items described in the listing and seen in the photos will be sent to the purchaser.
Delivery confirmation is included in the shipping price.
    Internation shipping is extra.
    Thanks for your interest.
